Switch to MSP Hub
Already buying Microsoft somewhere else?
Eligible CSP subscriptions move by Microsoft's partner-to-partner transfer: billing ownership changes, the remaining term and renewal date stay, and the tenant does not move. Tell us what you have and we will plan it with you.

Where you are coming from
The path depends on how you buy today.
| How it moves | What to check | |
|---|---|---|
| Another CSP partner | Partner-to-partner transfer of eligible license-based subscriptions and Azure plans. | Your current partner must approve. Azure CSP pricing does not carry over. |
| An MSP buying through a distributor | The same transfer, arranged between the providers involved. | Who your current reseller and provider are. |
| Microsoft directly, or an Enterprise Agreement | Not a partner-to-partner transfer. These follow their own transition process. | Agreement dates and which workloads are covered. |

What a transfer preserves
Per Microsoft's documentation, for eligible license-based subscriptions.
Term and renewal date
The remaining term, renewal date, promotions and scheduled changes stay with the subscription.
Cancellation rights do not restart
A transferred subscription is not a new purchase, so the seven-day window does not reopen.
Your tenant stays where it is
Eligible billing transfers do not migrate the tenant or interrupt service. Users keep their licences.
Price between partners
Microsoft creates the subscription under the new partner at the original price. What you pay MSP Hub is agreed separately.
What happens
Five steps, with you in control of the first.
- 1
Tell us what you have
Products, seat counts, terms and renewal dates, from your invoice or a licence export.
- 2
Review the comparison
The licensing desk sets your current lines next to what MSP Hub would supply.
- 3
Accept the reseller relationship
You accept MSP Hub as reseller and the applicable Microsoft Customer Agreement.
- 4
Transfer requested
MSP Hub requests the transfer; your current partner approves it in Partner Center.
- 5
Visible in HubX
Billing responsibility moves at transfer, and the subscriptions appear in HubX.
Don't attach invoices to the form yet.
This preview does not accept file uploads. Describe what you have in the inquiry; if a copy of your invoice is useful, the licensing desk will arrange a private way to share it.
Next step
Tell us what you buy today.
No files needed. A rough list of products, seats and renewal months is enough to start.
